I'm the original owner of my Miata, affectionately called "Streak" (after "The Silver Streak"). Previously equipped with a roots supercharger, but after the engine blew, it now has a Greddy turbocharger. In the succeeding repair, it was decided to put in a set of forged pistons, reinforced connecting rods, and turbo camshafts with variable timing gears. A super-strong timing belt was used for added insurance, and a Cusco exhaust system gets the exhaust out without making a racket.
Cusco Zero-two suspension was mounted all-around, and the street setting is soft enough to smooth out the usual bumps for driving around town, yet easily adjusted for those joyous track days when a stiffer setting is required. The chassis is braced to prevent flexing, but will soon have the seams welded for added stiffness.
It's got a limited-slip differential to maximize the grip of the Bridgestone intermediate tires. On a whim, I had a NOS (Nitrous Oxide) System installed for those days when an overdose of adrenalin is just perfect for increased circulation.
What can I say? I love my Miata!!! I love it all the more when I'm boosting down a looong highway to get to my destination without delay!
