After several years of
participating in this event, I can no longer imagine the BB Pilipinas Annual Parade
of Contestants without the Miata Club Philippines. Last sunday February 28,
2010, twenty four (24) lovely candidates were paraded in our topdown Miata,
around the Araneta Center in busy Cubao, by none other than the distinguished
gentlemen and lady, from the MCP.
Joining us for the first time were TONY CABRERA,
BILLIE AVECILLA, RENE MAPUA, OSCAR MEDALLA, JERRY RICO, EARL YULO, and DANBY
HENARES. Following are the MCP members with their corresponding contestant

We all had a wonderful and great time. So we
wish to thank the following for making this year's parade another success :
a) PRUDZ CASTILLO and MAZDA PHILIPPINES for
making available the new MX5 NC2 VERSION for use in the parade.
b) COLLINS for designing and printing our ID
Tags for all participants. This made it quite easy for our members to freely
move around the restricted areas
c) ITALIANNI'S RESTAURANT for serving us a
sumptious buffet after the parade, at the exclusive function room of GATEWAY
SUITES
d) PHOTOGRAPHERS VEN, KEITH, SEAN, TRISTAN,
COLLINS, SANTY for documenting with professional quality pictures our most
awaited club event.
e) RENAN Acosta who couldn't be with us, but
unselfishly lent his Miata for NOMER to drive the BB Pilipinas Universe
winner.
f) KAREN and ELLAINE of the BB PILIPINAS
organizing committee for the 15 Patron tickets to the coronation night.
g) ROLAND for leading the delegation of MCP
members at the Coronation Night, and updating me by text the list of
semi-finalists, finalists, and winners, in real-time.
h) all the MCP participants who volunteered
their time, and their precious miata, in keeping with tradition, and
commitment.
i) all the other MCP members who would have been
there, if they could, but nevertheless, were there in spirit to support our
club.
